Something that is handier in the error console than in the web/browser console is that you can right click/copy for the whole entry, whereas for the consoles you can only copy text that you have selected. This might be by design, but it seems better to allow copying everything especially if the user selects copy while having selected nothing.

Proposal to allow selecting text and to copy that if the user right clicks on it or does ctrl-c but to allow right clicking and copying an entire log entry if nothing is selected at the time of the right click.

Not allowing selecting text might be counter intuitive as reported in issue 584346 but allowing to right click immediately is especially useful for everyone with mouses that are not so precise (touch screens, touch pads, thinkpad mouse buttons, and plain old mouses that start to jitter)

Bug 1100562 which is ready to land will allow copying the selected line.
