Steps to reproduce:

1. Log into github
2. Navigate to any github project you have push access to.
3. Navigate to a URL for any file in that project you want to edit.
4. Press the pencil icon to bring up the github browser-based editor for editing that file; e.g., https://github.com/w3c/web-platform-tests/edit/master/README.md
5. Move the caret to any character in that file.
6. Press the delete/backspace key.


Actual results:

Nothing happens.


Expected results:

The delete/backspace key should delete the character preceding the caret.

I forgot to add that you first need to be viewing the desktop version of the github site in order to be able to edit github project files in the browser (i.e., you need to first scroll to the bottom of the page and touch the "Desktop version" hyperlink).

Actually I'm finding other problems in trying to post github issue comments from Nightly on Android—text I type in gets duplicated. I wonder if there's a general issue open for this already.

This looks related to bug 1134209, although I don't see garbage text passed through to GeckoEditable in this case.
