Chris, are you the developer of the "Web Developer" add-on? The add-on seems to be broken with multiprocess Firefox (e10s). If you have any questions about e10s support, just drop by the #e10s IRC channel on irc.mozilla.org or ask Ally on this bug. MDN also has a good introduction: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/Working_with_multiprocess_Firefox

Yup, I'm aware of this issue and it will be fixed in the next release. Just trying to find the time to get that release done and submitted to the add-ons site, but hopefully soon.

Reproduced with Ubuntu 14.04 (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:48.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/48.0). The addon throws content.js and overlay.js errors. In addition, when "View Generated Source" is clicked from the "View Source" menu, blank window appears. It is e10s specific issue.
Just a kind "bump" for this issue, as e10s is close to being activated by default. Bad timing though, Chris Pederick I wouldn't want to add hassle to you, I noticed on twitter you just got hacked...

With WebExtensions being the only valid way of doing extensions in Firefox 57, I don't think this bug is still relevant.
