What problems would this solve?
===============================
The number of macros is quite big and the only way to find a specific one is to page through them.
A search would make finding them a lot easier.
Who would use this?
===================
Template editors who don't know exactly the name of a macro or want to browse through a subset of them for some other reason.
What would users see?
=====================
A list of templates filtered by the entered keywords.
What would users do? What would happen as a result?
===================================================
Enter a search term and pick a template from the filtered list.
Is there anything else we should know?
======================================
One question is whether the search should only work on the template name or also on their contents.
A full text search would e.g. make it possible for translators to find a template by a translated string he or she saw on a page.

The use case to get the template used on a page will also be served by bug 767176.

We have a macro dashboard [1] of macros that is unpaginated. There is a bug that results in inaccurate usage counts (bug 1373848). It is also possible to search macro content on GitHub [2].
