Crash Data

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0
Build ID: 20150108202552

Steps to reproduce:

1. Update both Firefox 32bit (34.x->35.x) and Nightly 64bit (37.x->38.x)
3. Work a bit with FF 32bit and exit, leaving focus on one 'New Tab'
2. Open Nightly 64bit, change the focus from 'New Tab' to another with a site (for example google.com)

Actual results:

At start FF 32bit open all current tabs, Nightly just crashes and offers to report Mozilla for the situation with the corresponding tab

Expected results:

Well ... we simply need our tabs to open
Step numbers of 2 and 3 are mistaken, so sorry :(

Looks like there are several open bugs for the crash signature, jimm please dupe or mark as new.

This looks like a cpow abort caused by an addon.

This is definitely a problem that's being caused by an addon. Can you try to figure out which one of your addons is causing this by disabling them until this stops happening?
Flags: needinfo?(obi4amvi)
I think it's µBlock, no mather that during first start Nightly checked for incompatible addons and only FireShot 0.98.64 was marked as such.

Does it reproduce with Firefox builds earlier than 20150108202552 ?

If I remember right there were a couple of times when 64bit Nightly 37 crashed the tabs in the same manner, and the reason was a local site with an old flash animation (old means created long long time ago). Updating Shockwave Flash didn't fix it

Mistakenly filed against Firefox 38 and should be instead 38 Branch. Sorry for the spam. dkl

So µBlock was active on every crash? And can reproduce with only that addon enabled?

Hmmm, can confirm that it's not a problem anymore. FF Dev Edition 39.0a2 64bit and µBlock 0.9.1.0 and no crashes since I started to use Dev Edition 39.x

perhaps then it was like bug 1123439?
=> WFM per reporter

You are lucky, I don't have crashes on 64bit Firefoxes (Dev & Nightly), just a nice and fluffy lag, which leaves me to return to 32bit normal Firefox :D
Reopening the bug. In the Nightly 64bit (43.0a1) with activated Electrolysis (E10S). When you run a macro, fail all tabs.

Now I'm on FF Dev Edition 42.0a2 (2015-08-19) 64bit and all my tabs crashed 2 days ago with exclamation marks. Dunno why ...
