From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.6) Gecko/20011120
BuildID: 2001112009
Changing Font preferences doesn't take effect and changes aren't saved from one
Mozilla session to another. The only change that is saved is in the DPI menu.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.) Open a new browser window and load a web page with mostly text
2.) Open the Preferences window
3.) Click on the Fonts catagory
4.) Notice that the "Fonts for:" popup menu is blank and that the font size
popup menus are both at 8
5.) Choose an item in that popup menu (the other items should change with the
the change in that menu)
6.) Click OK
7.) Notice that nothing changed in the browser window
8.) Open the Preferences window again
9.) Click on the Fonts catagory
10.) Notice that no change was saved in that catagory when last you clicked OK
Actual Results: Nothing changed and that's the problem.
Expected Results: I expected the size of the fonts to change to a comfortable
readable size.
on my linux install of moz, the changes take effect, but whenever prefs are
opened, it doesn't display my actual settings but some other weirdness instead.
