This bug was filed from the Socorro interface and is report bp-035557a4-0a17-4358-8985-c133c2150120. ============================================================= Description: After opening the messages app through multiple (if not all) share activities and sending/receiving SMS and MMS messages the user will experience the device restarting and a crash report prompt after unlocking the device Repro Steps: 1) Update a Flame to 20150120010227 2) Launch Messages app through all share activities (Contacts, Gallery, Music, Dialer, Camera, Browser, and Video) 3) Send/Recieve 1 SMS and 1 MMS 4) Navigate to a thread 5) Tap the "..." in the upper right hand corner 6) Tap "Select Messages" 7) Begin Selecting Messages Actual: Device Restarts and upon unlocking the phone there will be a crash report message Expected: User is able to navigate throughout the messages app without a crash occuring Environmental Variables: Device: Flame 3.0 (319MB)(Kitkat)(Full Flash) Build ID: 20150120010227 Gaia: a5c5ac093814a80b0627514c3bd5f9e96c096a4b Gecko: c1c6840d9255 Gonk: a814b2e2dfdda7140cb3a357617dc4fbb1435e76 Version: 38.0a1 (3.0) Firmware Version: v18D-1 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:38.0) Gecko/38.0 Firefox/38.0 Notes: I did have 2 SIM cards while testing. Repro frequency: 1/10 See attached: I was unable to get a logcat or video due to not being able to reproduce this bug
I am unsure if this bug occurs on Flame 2.2 or 2.1 as I was only able to hit this crash 1 time.
