Details

When I try to play youtube videos on this VM, I get the webm versions of the videos.

http://www.youtube.com/html5 says the following won't work on this machine:

H.264
MSE & H.264
MSE & WebM VP9

The following about:config flags may be relevant:

media.fragmented-mp4.enabled true
media.fragmented-mp4.exposed true
media.fragmented-mp4.ffmpeg.enabled false
media.fragmented-mp4.use-blank-decoder false
media.mediasource.mp4.enabled true

Running Windows 8.1 Pro N, 32-bit mode
Can you try playing a video with NSPR_LOG_MODULES=MP4Demuxer:5,MediaDecoder:5 and recording the logs. It's not finding the platform's decoder framework, but I don't know why.
