User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/39.0.2171.99 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Steps: -Add a 'mousedown' listener to any element -Touch down and hold Notes Here is a minimal repro http://jsfiddle.net/m6xouu1c/ . Notice how on IE the alert box comes up instantly upon touch down, on Chrome it comes up after a 300ms delay (to detect double tap), and on Firefox the alert box never comes up until the finger is lifted. Actual results: -No event is fired Expected results: -'mousedown' is fired
