Very often I need to test short javascript snippets in the browser, just to experiment and check how it works. I usually fire up the console in a about:blank tab. But when the experiment starts being bigger I usually go to jsbin, which is not really ideal.

I'd love to have a jsbin-like experience with the scratchpad. And at least having the console I know plugged in with console.log instead of showing a result in a comment would be a good addition.
The scratchpad is already connected with the web console of the active tab. Granted, it may feel a disjoint experience, but using console.log() from Scratchpad works fine.

Scratchpad was removed in Bug 1519103 (Firefox 72). You can check the alternative in https://wiki.developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Deprecated_tools#Scratchpad .

The Scratchpad bug list was reviewed and I think this bug can be safely closed.
