Hi Devon,

We don't have known active community support for Wolof, so let's limit the work to the front end, targeting end users.
Source files in the order or priority:
1) Front End: https://localize.mozilla.org/projects/fireplace/
2) Payments Front End: https://localize.mozilla.org/projects/spartacus/

- The progress dashboard: https://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~flod/webstatus/mpstats/
- Testing: http://marketplace-dev.allizom.org/?lang=wo

Thanks,
Peiying

Hello Peiying,

I have found that my attempt to commit updated wo Front End and Payments Front End components to VCS fails. Is this perhaps a permission issue? This seems to be the case for the West African and Nigerian languages.

We would like to go ahead and test the updated content.

Thank you.
Devon
No, it might be an issue with Verbatim to being able to write to the repo.

Matjaz, can you take a look?

I tried with 'wo'.

The error 'Failed to commit to version control: [GIT] no changes to commit' means that there's nothing to commit. The way to work around this error is usually to make a minor change (like adding a space), commit, undo the change, commit again.

If you get other errors, usually try "Update all from VCS" and commit. If it doesn't work "Update against templates" and commit. The latter worked for me with Wolof and Fireplace.

Hopefully, this kind of weird errors will go away when we update the software to a more recent version.

Devon, both projects should be committed for wo now.

I'd like to learn more about problems you had with committing. What do you mean by "commit fails"? Are you getting an error message? What does it say?
Matjaz,

I experienced the issue Flod explained in Comment 3.
OK, that means permissions are fine and you were facing a known bug in Verbatim. Sadly there's not much we can do about it before we upgrade Verbatim, just as flod explained.
Thank yo for the feedback. How long does it take for the target content to be available for testing on the QA site then?
Devon, Looks like the testing site is not enabled for wo and many other languages you are currently working on. I will file a bug on this. When it is enabled, the update is available daily.

Hi Devon, Wolof is enabled on the testing site. https://marketplace-dev.allizom.org/?lang=wo/. Please go ahead with the review/QA.
Hi Peiying,

Thank you. We will proceed with the linguistic testing of the Marketplace components.
