Prerequisites:
Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0

Steps to reproduce:
1.Go to Mp Stage and search for a paid app
2.Purchase the app with a valid credit card

Expected results:
User is automatically asked to install the app(a pop-up is displayed in the top-left side of the screen)

Actual results:
The confirmation pop-up is never displayed and the button is in a waiting state

NOTES:
Confirmation pop-up is displayed if the app is purchased via OB
After any action(ie. open the purchased app to details page) the pop-up will ask you to install the app

Operator billing vs credit card shouldn't make any difference at all, its more likely a different error. Do you have log of any errors?

I can't see any error in the console

I had an issue here with this flow. Not sure if it's the same bug but the timeout was firing causing the popup to stay open. 

I'm bumping that up to 10sec from 3secs and see if that makes a difference.

I'm going to file a new bug for comment 3 as there's a specific case we're hitting for that wrt to timeouts.

This is still reproducible. Please note that after clicking on browser, the installation confirmation pop-up is correctly displayed

As discussed this probably requires the window to be focused to ensure the app install hanger displays.

Actually re-testing this I don't see a problem using stable on windows. Re-testing on OSX with nightly I get the same problem I think this might be a regression in nightly.

:VictorC can you see if you get the same. E.g. everything works unless it's nightly?

Ok I'm going to open a platform bug for this as it looks like a regression on the platform side.

Ok the cause is e10s in nightly. with e10s off it works fine. Also this affects all app installations and not just payments related so this isn't a payments blocker.

I've filed bug 1131687 to cover the platform bug.
