This is the tracking bug for the upcoming Release Bugzilla 5.0rc2, 4.4.8, 4.2.13 and 4.0.17 releases. 

All releases have a regression fix included.

I really don't see the point to do a release now. This only affects JSONRPC, and only if the user tries to use an incorrect method name. Bugzilla still works.
