URL location bar history menu lists 404 entries

Details
The dropdown menu from the url location bar lists every url I have ever typed,
including those urls that are 404, often because I have mistyped them.
Entries that result in a returned 404 (and probably a number of other error
codes) should IMO never make it onto this history list. Right now I have to
clear the history list to get rid of them;
(I haven't yet figured out how to get a screenshot while a menu is down.)
