STR: * Download Simulator 2.2 via WebIDE * start Simulator * press Page Up or Page Down * notice how volume does not change Expected: Volume should change NB: In a user app, I get the normal "PageUp" and "PageDown" keys in keyboard events
PageUp and PageDown used to be mapped to VolumeUp/Down. Now with bug 989198 and bug 1014418 fixed I think we don't use this mapping anymore.
I don't follow. How would a use of the simulator press the hardware volume buttons then? They are not surfaced in the UI currently.
You're right. So either the simulator has to provide a UI or it has to convert PageUp/Down to VolumeUp/Down and send to gecko.
