Because of the way the CSS viewport and dynamic toolbar works on Fennec, window.innerWidth and window.innerHeight are often not what people expect. There have been a number of bugs filed on this issue and I think in order to fix these we need to sit down and come up with a clean model of how it should work. Thus far we've just been slapping together patches to fix bugs but it's pretty ad-hoc. This is a meta bug to track all of these issues.

I ran into this while trying to create a workaround for bug 1148391, so this may also be related to some of our fixed position problems.

The meta keyword is there, the bug doesn't depend on other bugs and there is no activity for 12 months.
:rbarker, maybe it's time to close this bug?

I don't think anything under Fennec/Toolbar will be fixed at this point.
