Expected results:

Not crash ofcourse :P
Sunzz, thanks for the report! When you say your pc freezes and turns itself off, do you see a blue screen when that happens, or does the screen just go black/blank?

Sunzz also could you visit about:support, use the "copy data to clipboard" button and add it here either as an attachment or in a comment?

dmajor, can you suggest a way that we could get more data on this? Are there system logs or dumps which could help diagnose what's going on?

Just happened again while watching a youtube video. When the pc freezes any sound coming through my pc turns into a loud echo. Theres no blue screen or anything like that it just freezes the screen, sound echos badly and after 10 seconds or so it shuts down.i turn my pc back on and theres no error message of anything like that :S Really hope this helps as firefox is my favorite browser! :)

Here is the raw data you asked for :)

Sunzz can you go to:
Control Panel -> System and Security -> Action Center -> Maintenance
and pull up the "View reliability history" chart.

Do you have any "Critical events" (red icon) near the date/time that these restarts happened?
If so, what does it say when you double-click the event?

We disabled MSE in Firefox 36 beta 7 in favour of using the Flash fallback. We enable it again in Firefox 37 which goes to beta next week.

Don't know if this is related but in Firefox 39 firefox freezes when I go to Youtube even without playing a video. tried migrating back to 38 and it still freezes. I have to invoke task manager and force quit firefox. I have not seen anything this serious in many months. Task manager reports firefox is eating up vast amounts of memory, as much as 800 megabytes and normally over 300 megabytes even sitting on the home page doing nothing. I tried seamonkey and it doesn't freeze, but won't play Youtube videos.

Can you file a separate bug, add your about:support info and needinfo me please? The original bug looks suspiciously like an overheating issue.
