Hi Steven,
This seems to be a platform issue as it was the cloned one, bug 1079543, I think Mike should have a look at it.

The flame camera driver has a bug whereby it will allow you to open the back-/away-/forward-facing camera if the front-/user-facing camera is already open. Except this isn't really supported and leads to both cameras failing.

I'm working on a work-around in bug 1073017, but the vendor should really fix their driver. Wesly, can you ping them?

Hi Mike:

Sorry for late catchup. But what if we have no plan for new Flame base image SW? (v18D is the last SW in plan) Per comment#6 a workaround is mentioned and I assume this will be a more feasible option for now?
Flags: needinfo?(wehuang) → needinfo?(mhabicher)
Wesly -- yes, the workaround will allow the Camera app to steal the camera hw from the Loop client.

If any update?

Hi Lance,
Can you do a branch check for master?
Thanks!

Flags: needinfo?(liuke)
It is blocked by bug 1168173,so I will check this bug on master after bug 1168173 is fixed.
