+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1127416 +++ I tried to do this myself after discussing with cpearce, who said this should happen from ::SuspendOrResumeElement . However, that seems not to work - I only get notifications when the tab for the test closes, and only 2, whereas I get 4 metadata-loaded notifications. I should be getting the unload notifications for exactly as many elements as I get the metadata-loaded, and they should fire when the elements go away (which I guess might depend on my test setup). cpearce, can you have a look at the patch (will attach shortly) and see if it's obvious what I'm missing and/or if it's easier for someone on the media team to do this?
