Trunk build 2001-11-30-03: WinMe, Linux RH 7.1
Trunk build 2001-11-29: Mac OS/X
Overview: Move the vertical splitter to the left as far as you can go. Then move
it to the right and the names of the address books are gone.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Click and hold the vertical splitter (the area between the directory pane and
the results pane)
2. Move it to the left so the address book names no longer appear
3. Move it to the right to see the address book names again
Actual Results:
Win/linux:
- Expand/Collapse widget is present
- Address Book icons are present
- Names of the Address Books are gone
- List-names/icons are gone
OS/X:
- Only the expand/collapse widget is present
Workaround: Click on the grippy twice (to close/open the directory pane) and
then all contents are displayed.
Expected Results:
Address Book names and List-names/icons should display.

Could this be an outliner bug?

No, it's a tree problem. I recall the same problem with folder pane in messenger
There is a bug filed to convert ab folder pane to outliner.
