Details
It looks like the flash blocklist doesn't work when e10s is enabled even though the flash plugin is listed as vulnerable and "Ask to Activate". If you disable e10s and restart the browser, you'll correctly get the error messages that indicate the your flash is outdated. Found the issue when testing Bug # 1128534 OS's used: - Win 8.1 x64 - Reproduced with the latest m-c - OSX 10.10.2 - Reproduced with the latest m-c STR: * uninstall any older versions of Flash that are currently installed ** https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html * install a version of flash that blocked via the blocklist ** http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_13.0.0.264_archive.zip * once installed, install the latest version of m-c * if the current blocklist isn't published yet, use the following steps to contact the dev servers: ** https://wiki.mozilla.org/Blocklisting/Testing * Play any flash and you'll notice that you won't get any error message and the video's will play without issues
