Hi Jacqueline, I am not sure if this is the expected behavior, are you currently working on music, could you comment on this, thank you.
Flags: needinfo?(jsavory)
I agree with the expected result that the music should remain paused. In this case the user has purposely paused the music and can easily play it again from the song page. Currently, the experience seems a bit jarring. Since the music doesn't pause when the share screen is opened, it shouldn't continue to play when the user closes it.

Suggest to fix per comment# 4, thanks
Flags: needinfo?(dkuo)
To fix this issue might need to write a patch base on the workaround of bug 956811, which we did to pause the music player if we share to the other apps, so I would suggest we wait for the new audio channel management(bug 1089539) fixed and this should be fixed after the workaround removed.
Flags: needinfo?(dkuo)
[Tracking Requested - why for this release]: Waiting until bug 1089539 is fixed.
Depends on: NewAudioChannel
Adjusting component. This might already be fixed. Could QA take a look? Thanks!

I was unable reproduce this issue on Aries Master and Flame 2.5 using the reporter's steps. I believe this to be fixed on the following builds referenced below. Result: Song will remained paused.
