I worked up a prototype patch that randomly seeks around and tries different things: sometimes waiting for 'seeking', sometimes waiting for 'seeked' and checking currentTime, sometimes reseeking immediately, and sometimes reseeking after a timeout in the range [0, 50) ms.
The test currently fails consistently within the first 70 or so seeks (timeouts or fatal assertions), so it's a good source of bugs to fix. I also want to introduce other factors into the test, but I want to get it passing as-is first.
