Today I spotted by chance that b2g bumper was failing, and we were not getting nagios alerts. The stamp file was getting written on the file system, so it looks like it was a problem that the script writing the stamp file was not correctly recognising that the mozharness script was failing.

Here in the mozharness logs we see the FATAL error, yet the stamp file was getting written. This meant nagios didn't spot a problem.
The root failure was due to a change in b2g-manifest that was failing travis tests, yet had been merged in. I therefore added a README.md to b2g-manifest to show the travis build status, and to advise readers that travis tests should pass in personal forks before merging pull requests:
