Details |
The attached ICS file cannot be imported via "Events and Tasks > Import ..." using TB 36 beta 1 with Lightning 3.8b1.
No error message is received, but nothing happens.
The strange thing is that it can be imported from an e-mail attachment.

I'm getting this error:
Timestamp: 2/23/15, 12:19:18 PM
Error: NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_INPUT: Component returned failure code: 0x8050000e (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_INPUT) [nsIScriptableUnicodeConverter.convertFromByteArray]
Source File: resource://calendar/modules/calUtils.jsm -> file:///Users/kewisch/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/8xwcqxp9.default/extensions/%7Be2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103%7D/calendar-js/calIcsParser.js
Line: 168
Looks like there is an encoding issue, likely with the apostrophe. I am not sure why it works from the e-mail attachment. Possibly we could duplicate this against bug 334657?
