1136080 - Reader mode icon is inconsistently displayed on same page

OS: Android 5.1.0
Devices:  Nexus 5
Reproducible on all channels ( 36 RC - 39.0a1)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to https://globau.wordpress.com/2015/02/24/happy-bmo-push-day-128/
2. Tap the reader mode icon
3. After the page is displayed in reader move tap the icon again
4. Refresh the page

Actual results:
- The reader mode icon is not consistently displayed 

Expected Results:
- The reader mode icon should be always displayed on the same page

Do you see anything in the log? Is it random, or is it always after going back to the page that the reader mode icon isn't shown?

I kept investigating this as I do not get anything in logs but it is still intermittent on mostly all devices( Nexus-es, S5) or you get no reader icon at all on Note 2. 

Intermittent:
1. Open link - no icon
2. Refresh or Open new tab and load page again - icon present
3. Repeating 2 several times will display the page without icon in url from time to time.
