User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0 Build ID: 20150125221831 Steps to reproduce: Initial state: - Phone is on - Wifi is on - No SIM card -> telephony, data is off. However, I have replicated this with a SIM card inserted and data turned off - Battery at 100% Steps: - I turned Wifi off before going to sleep Actual results: In the morning (about 8 hours later), the battery was completely drained. This happens fairly consistently, suggesting that some app tries to re-connect to the internet, can't get a connection, and goes on a continuous loop to try to regain connection. This could be what prevents the CPU from going to sleep, thus draining the battery. Expected results: Battery should have lasted even longer than usual, i.e. almost no battery drain, since wifi is now off.
This might be a duplicate of bug 1130725. And BTW I've been experiencing the same on my Flame. This sounds like a good hunch. I've noticed that the privacy panel app starts in the background on his own, maybe it's related? Ben, did you have a similar setup when you filed bug 1130725 (wifi on, no data)?

I don't think this is a duplicate of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1130725 because with Wifi kept on and the phone idling (i.e. not used), I get a few days of battery life out of it! It's only when I turn off wifi/data that suddenly it drains battery.

It's only when I turn off wifi/data that suddenly it drains > battery. I should also just mention that I am testing the nightly (master branch) build on a Geeksphone Keon.
