113839 - page from http://host:80 can't access page from http://host while NN4 and IE allow it

Description

Someome reported a problem in the JavaScript newsgroup
 snews://secnews.netscape.com:563/9uo6am$[e-mail]
that NN6.2 gives him a security exception for cross frame access where pages are
loaded from the same domain.
I have visited with Mozilla 0.9.6 and get the exception too.
On further investigation it seems that the site has some urls of the form
  http://host
and others of the form
  http://host:80
NN4 and IE seem to (correctly I think) assume those pages to be from the same
domain while Mozilla doesn't.
I will try to put together a test case which demostrates the problem.
