FWIW I sent feedback to Rockstar about this at the start of April. They received the information, but there haven't been any further updates.

I hit this issue while trying to download GTA V for PC - considering it was officially released yesterday, a lot of people will be seeing this and it could be worthwhile to ping Rockstar again before it affects Firefox popular opinion.
Fixed.
