The log here is printed by video app:

It says we cannot draw a video element on a canvas which is used by video app to create thumbnail. So, we draw the default image[1]. Because the background color is black and the image is dark, you may not find it at low back-lid device.

If only ogg files have thumbnail, that should be GRAPHICS or MP4 CODEC issue. Please find Blake or Jerry.

I am 100% sure that we have the same issue few months ago. Blake and Jerry had checked that for me. Because of that issue, we had a patch at bug 869289 to show the default thumbnail.

I believe this problem should be caused by the unexpected color format of decoded frame. Bug 961627 and bug 931733 are related to this bug.

Can this problem be reproduced in Flame 3.0?
From the comment 8, it should be only found in L-version instead of v3.0 kk-based.

The bug still exist on Nexus 5_3.0, but it does not exist on Flame 3.0.
