Tested with 09-Mar-2015 nightly and bug is present. It's only on the site homepage. Only since a redesign of the website.

I get the hang even with a new profile. I get the hang with adblock disabled.

That about:support output confirms you're not getting e10s (web content getting a separate process (or processes) from the browser itself). You say this happens in a new profile but is that new profile *also* not getting e10s? The line you're looking for in about:support is:
