User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:36.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/36.0 Waterfox/36.0
Build ID: 20150228040126
Steps to reproduce:
Situation : I have a few pinned tabs, and lots of normal tabs, so that I have to scroll to view them all.
With the default settings, when I open a new tab from a link from a pinned tab, the new tab becomes the first in the tabs order. If the tabs scroll position was set so that the first tabs were hidden, the newly created tab is automatically scrolled to be visible.
Problem :
I disabled the tabs smooth scrolling feature by setting toolkit.scrollbox.smoothScroll property to false in about:config, and now, when I open a new tab following the steps described previously, the new tab does NOT scroll into view.
Actual results:
Newly created tab does not scroll into view automatically when necessary.
Expected results:
Newly created tabs should be scrolled into view when necessary even when tabs smooth scrolling is disabled.
