Steps to reproduce:

MinuumKeyboard uses the primary colour to set the background colour of their keyboard, SwiftKey has inferred they're going to do something similar. It would be awesome to make these keyboards Firefox orange.

It would be a nice bonus if we set the navigation bar orange as well.

Worth noting that the primaryColor affects the color of the title bar in the recent application switcher, which is currently a shade of grey.

Ms Dory, I should mention that you only need to look at bug 1164307 comment 0 – the rest of the comments are specific to the previous assignee.

I'm struggling to see the user value here. I don't think making our users' keyboard bright orange is a good idea. It also doesn't really sit in with our current style and color palettes very well.

So, I'd say this is a WONTFIX for now

I agree with Mike and Anthony. Since opening this bug we introduced a primary color and it's text_and_tabs_tray_grey (#363B40). Nowadays we use it to style various things (e.g. ActionBar in settings) and we do not want to use orange here. At least for now. :)
