114205 - Installing under Windows XP causes Forte Agent to crash

After upgrading from Windows Me to Windows XP, whenever I try to install Mozilla
(I've tried versions 0.9.5 and 0.9.6), I can no longer get into Forte Agent
(version 1.8) because it causes an exception as soon as it starts up.
Uninstalling Mozilla fixes the problem. I installed Mozilla with Mail & News,
Personal Security Manager, and Quality Feedback Agent, but not Chatzilla or
Debugger. I didn't check the Quick Start box. I haven't yet found any other
programs that this causes a problem with besides Forte Agent, and this problem
didn't occur at all in either Windows Me or Windows 98.
