Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0
Build ID: 20150311004633

Steps to reproduce:

To reproduce, enable or disable bluetooth, either via the settings app or via the drag-down notifications menu using Boot2Gecko 3.0.0.0-prerelease (nightly update channel, last update 03/11/2015). Select a paired device to connect via the settings app, or wait for a paired device to connect or disconnect automatically after bluetooth is enabled/disabled.

Actual results:

Whenever bluetooth is enabled or disabled, and subsequently attempts to connect or disconnect a paired device (or if I manually select a paired device to connect), FirefoxOS crashes and reboots. After the reboot, the bluetooth has been toggled to the setting which I was attempting to set (whether on or off) and the paired device is appropriately connected or disconnected. In other words, everything seems to be working properly aside from a reboot before the paired device is connected or disconnected as desired.

If the paired device is unavailable and bluetooth is on, FirefoxOS will keep crashing/rebooting when the Bluetooth page of the Settings app is opened and the device is searched for and not found. If the paired device is turned on and in range before the Bluetooth page of the settings app is opened (while bluetooth is on) , the paired device will be connected after a crash/reboot.

I am able to reproduce this 100% of the times that I carry out this action, using a pair of BluebudsX bluetooth headphones.

(In case it is relevant, I flashed a full build of the whole system as described in comments 3 and 4 of bug 1131667, a day or two after those comments, and have been on nightly updates since. I did not, however, experience this problem until about two days ago.)

Expected results:

Expected result is that bluetooth is enabled or disabled when the setting is toggled, and paired device connected or disconnected without a crash or reboot.
