I hit the a/v sync issue again with Nightly 39.0a1 (2015-03-12). Started playing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZeUntdObCA, put mac to sleep after about 6 minutes. Opened mac a couple of hours later, started playback. The audio is about one second behind the video, not tens of seconds like in bug 1140075, but the sleep/wake suggests it might be different from bug 1138786, so I filed a new bug.
Could it be a dup of bug 1138786?
I could be, from the duration of the lag. How reproducible is that bug for you? I don't see it on today's nightly or aurora.
Last week I saw this on Mac _without_ MSE enabled, just normal html mp4 video playback. Steps were something like: Open https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AP8DzGapfyo (first tab) Open https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJJzPhL1W5Q (second tab) Open https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_XHAZcZHV4 (third tab) Pause them all. Put Mac to sleep. Wake make. Start video in first tab. Observe sync error.
