I just noticed this 32-bit Win Vista part (and noticed that it's also in bug 1140944). Does this mean that we should continue to serve http://cdmdownload.adobe.com/firefox/win/x86/primetime_gmp_win_x86_alpha_20150213.zip for XP?

The CDM/GMP downloader will only activate when it knows that it is running on a platform that we support, which is Vista and later. So the knowledge as to whether to download on XP or not will be hardcoded into the downloader. So if there's no way for you to restrict the download to not be visible to WinXP machines, I think it's ok.

OK, that's good to know. We can restrict this on the server, I just missed that detail in bug 1140944. I'll take care of it here to be safe.

Alright, this should be sorted now. I see that bug 1138115 was only intended for Vista and higher too, so I've pointed XP users at CDM from bug 1134919.

The Adobe CDM cannot function correctly on WinXP at all, so pointing to nothing on WinXP is preferable.

Ah, I see. I made that change - thanks for clarifying!
