Maybe this should be an RFE.

When double-clicking an email saved in Drafts, it opens up un-editable.  It's
not obvious how to edit it, though Edit Message as New is probably the proper
user action.

Desired action: Because Mozilla knows it is the drafts folder by virtue of the
prefs setting mail.identity.id?.draft_folder, the default action for
double-clicking an email in this folder should be Edit Message as New.

Brian, this is a bug. Do you see "Edit Draft..." button?.
