We should normalize extensions and types to lowercase before saving to the
datasource so that comparisons in nsExternalHelperAppService::*FromDS will
actually match things.

i checked the mimeTypes.rdf for an existing profile that i have on linux rh7.2
(and using with 2002.03.13 comm bits), and the mimetypes are in lowercase there.
