DuckDuckGo already uses <meta name="referrer" content="origin"> and there should be no need to use redirects for search results (no search terms leakage).
What do you mean by "meta referrer setting"? I.e. what change are you proposing exactly to our search plugin?

Right, not the best summary, sorry.

I'm proposing kd=-1 query param addition to searchplugin or changing default (for Firefox at least) on the DDG side.
