Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.6+) Gecko/20011210
BuildID: 2001121008
Links visited using right-click are not later rendered in
a different color, as is the case for links visited with left-click.
Netscape 4.x behaves the same way, but I always considered this
to be a bug in Netscape.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.In Preferences|Appearance|Colors, make sure the visited and unvisited
colors are distinct. Check "underline links" (not sure if this
matters).
2. Display a web page with a link in the "unvisited" color (usu. blue)
3. Right-click the link (a new window or tab appears)
4. Re-display the page with the original link
Actual Results: Link is unchanged, still in the "unvisited" color
(usually blue).
Expected Results: Link should be displayed in the "visited" color
(usually purple)
I meant middle-clicked, not right-clicked (on Unix, anyway)
Summary: Right-clicked links are not displayed as visited → Middle-clicked links are not displayed as visited
