About one time in ten that I try to move an e-mail from the inbox to another
folder by "drag and drop", Mozilla creates a new unread mail item in that folder
with date 1/1/1970.   It leaves the original e-mail in the inbox.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just keep moving e-mails from the inbox till it does it.

Actual Results:  As described above.

Expected Results:  Moved the e-mail to the chosen folder.

Windows XP.   Mozilla configuration from various Netscape levels (last 6.2,
first 4.something or earlier long ago).

Is it by moving within imap folders are between pop folder or between imap and
pop?

Question asked:  Is it by moving within imap folders are between pop folder or
between imap and pop?

Answer:  "normal" inbox - as downloaded from a POP server.

It will do the same if I try to move "Sent" items that have been uploaded via SMTP.
