Details
We currently allow 6 connections per host, and 25 total. While looking at page load performance, I found that we hit this limit, negatively affecting page load times.

The performance issue was very specific to my test environment, and McManus has explained in bug 807322 that the values we use now are more or less standardized. Going to close this.
