Followup to Bug 1135123

With the patch applied I see a quick blink in both private and normal tabs.
See attached video (sorry it's upside down!)
Thankfully, I've pretty much always seen this, so I assume it's a pre-existing bug. It does seem to depend somewhat on the card, I wonder if there's something we can do to improve this...

Not going to assign to myself just yet, but may look into this.

Going to remove my needinfo - I think it's pretty late in the cycle to address this and I'd like to concentrate on v3 work (besides blockers of course).
