This bug was filled based on the discussion from bug 1131884 comment 19. Reproducible on the latest Nightly 40.0a1(BuildID: 20150401180920) Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0 Reproducible on Firefox 38 beta 1 (BuildID: 20150330154247) Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0 Reproducible on the latest Aurora 39.0a2(BuildID: 20150401004004) Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:39.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/39.0 Start the following video: http://216.18.212.226/PRODS/sony-nex-6/FULLRES/yvid_nex6_night_1080_30p.MP4 -> after several seconds, I see in the slider that the entire video is buffered; the video started; after 15s the playback restarted, but stall again shortly after; after several seconds (<15s), the video stall again -> even if the slider show that the entire video is buffered, the video stall and restart again every several seconds.
Component: Preferences → Video/Audio
Product: Firefox → Core
I've reproduced this issue also on Firefox 37 RC Build 2 (buildID: 20150326190726).
Component: Audio/Video → Audio/Video: Playback
Is this issue still reproducible? I'm expecting that it was fixed with the seek vs read threshold change.
I've tested on Ubuntu 13.10 32bit using latest Nightly 45.0a1 (buildID: 20151117030242) and I can't reproduce the issue anymore.
Ok. I'll close this bug. Thanks.
