Environment: 
Device: Motorola Razr (Android 4.1.2);
Build: Nightly 40.0a1 (2015-04-02);

Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch Fennec;
2. Go to http://goo.gl/cBGOaX

Expected result:
The video plays correctly.

Actual result:
Only the audio plays; the video is black.

Notes:
Attached are the logs form logcat.

Would you get the logs from Firefox startup? Looking for the "MediaPluginHost" logging see bug 868256 comment 0 for an example. We need the first few lines up to "Loading OMX Plugin:".

I attached the logs from Fennec startup, but there are no logs related to "MediaPluginHost".

Please file a new bug. Just because the behavior is the same does not mean that the cause is the same.

There's not really any specific debugging info to look for here. I'd say this is likely just another instance of the driver not implementing SurfaceTexture attach/detach correctly. We should add a pref to disable our usage of that so we can easily debug these sort of things remotely.

The media playback and surface texture modules were rewritten in release 53~54. I believe this bug is no longer relevant and if any similar symptom is observed it's very likely a new bug rather than this one.

Since we won't have further debug info for this one, I'll mark this as INCOMPLETE.
