Details
Reproducible with:
- Firefox 38 Beta 2 - BuildID: 20150406174117
- Firefox 40 Nightly latest - BuildID: 20150406030204
- latest Adobe Flash - 17.0.0.134
Reproducible on: Windows 7 x64, Mac OS X 10.8.5, Ubuntu 14.04 x86
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Firefox with a fresh profile and go to Youtube.
2. Search for a video that will also give you a list among the results (e.g. search for "happy pharrell").
3. Click on the list of videos returned with the search results.
4. Let the first video in the list play for exactly 10 seconds, then go to fullscreen.
Expected results:
Video enters fullscreen and correctly displays all video controls (same as in default view).
Actual results:
Video enters fullscreen, but the "Next" and "Previous" controls are missing. On Windows they tend to re-appear after the control bar hides, but on Mac and Linux they only re-appear after exiting fullscreen.
Notes:
- the issue shows the same way in Firefox 29.0.1
- I'm adding this to bug 1121280 monitoring fullscreen issues
- this issue may appear on various other scenarios involving fullscreen on videos from playlist, this is just one scenario where I can reproduce the issue 100%
- interesting enough, if you skip the first 3 steps and just enter the video list URL and then execute step 4, then the issue does NOT reproduce

I believe this is a bug of Youtube, unless they triggered some deeper layout issue. Is this reproducable on Chrome?

Note that this issue shows only while using the Flash player (Chrome uses the HTML5 player). I did reproduce the issue with Safari on Mac OS X, but not with IE and Opera on Windows.

Component: Audio/Video → Audio/Video: Playback
YouTube has dropped support for Flash playback so I'm going to close this bug.
