>>Project/Request Title: Firefox for iOS support content >>Project Overview: We want to provide support content for Firefox on iOS >> Creative Help Needed: Copy: No Design: Yes Video: No Other: No >>Creative Specs: The deliverable is an icon that we can use to differentiate Firefox on iOS from our other products. Since all our products are all called Firefox a little visual differentiation goes a long way. on a product selection page We need the icon in png form in the following sizes: 512x512, 256x256, 192x192, 96x96 >>CTA and Design: We already have icons for Firefox OS and Firefox for Android. We'd need something that fits those visual styles. You can see them all listed here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/ We don't have any specific requirements about what should be depicted as long as it communicates that what's behind it is for Firefox on iOS devices >>Expected Launch Date: 2015-05-01 >>Mozilla Goal: Firefox Browser >>Mozilla Creative Collective: No >>Points of Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org,
Hi Kadir, I am assigning this over to Ty, since he is working on the assets associated with Firefox on iOS. As far as timing goes, is something specifically connected to May 1? I think we should be able to get something by then, but want to make sure that we know any constraints/issues around when design is needed. Thanks!
Created attachment 8592287 [details] FFX_iOS-Sumo-Icon.png Hi Kadir, We are a little more limited to what we can do with iOS. Were unable to use the Apple symbol in our creative to promote iOS as we do with the Android guy for FFx for Android. To keep consistency with the other products, we might have to go with something similar to this:
Looks good to me cc:ing Product and Marketing, Karen and Arcadio, just in case there are any product and marketing issues with this SUMO icon for Firefox for iOS (probably not!)
Provided Darrin (UX) and Sean are ok, then I'm ok :)
Works for me, Sean?
Looks like design is done on this bug. Going to go ahead and resolve it for now.
