We'll need a release notes page built for iOS which is launching with 38.1 (June 2nd).
Initial questions
- Do we need design, or can we re-purpose https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/32.0/releasenotes/?
- What is going to be the URL? (we'll probably want to chance the Android URL too)
- Who will be responsible for entering notes into admin?

Met today to discuss iOS release notes - https://spring15.etherpad.mozilla.org/ios-weekly-checkin (2015-04-16)
Phase 1 - backend
Add product to nucleus so we can begin entry
Phase 2 - frontend
Add template/view clone from Android notes
Design direction:
# Let's keep all 4 links in the same area. We can use text links
Latest Firefox release
Latest Firefox for Android
Latest Firefox for iOS
Only include /firefox/releases if they are on desktop
:sylvestre - just want to confirm that you/your team will be adding release notes for iOS when it launches. Also, when do you think you'll be ready to input?

Yes, that is going to be our team which will deal with writing the release notes for iOS.
For the update of our tool to manage that, nucleus, we will have to discuss with the web team but that should not be too hard.

Bug 1153351 has moved Android relnotes from /mobile/ to /firefox/android/.

We didn't ship iOS. Keeping the tracker open as it may prove helpful to use these bugs for reference when iOS does ship.

Cory - iOS will be shipping within a few months. How best do we ensure all of the associated work is tracking towards a launch date?

> a launch date?
Is there such a thing?
The tracker remains open (bug 1131702). When/if there is clarity on the iOS launch date, we can revisit.

Yes, we will take care of the content.
We can also help with the development if needed.

^Question for Mike and Sylvestre: Are the ios release notes really blocked by the work to update the front end design of release notes?
