User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0
Build ID: 20150402191859
Steps to reproduce:
Run Firefox and get to a website.
Actual results:
I've had several crashes while the following site was left running:
xe.com (a currency exchange site I've used for years), with a right-click pop-up on a particular currency. I'd be working on another screen at the time and eventually notice the crash icon long after the fact.
Also had it crash silently once or twice simply after exiting any page. That is, FF closed and the crash window appeared in the background. (BUT could be a red herring -- perhaps this was a crash screen from a previous run that I just noticed now while closing the current run.)
I've been waiting to find rhyme or reason before reporting, but it has happened EVERY day since upgrading on 04-APR-2015, sometimes multiple times, unfortunately not predictably.

...Then last previous crash was back in February.
Expected results:
Firefox should keep running when left on a page.

Now I've had it happen several times just now, going to ordinary sites like bing.com, or sometimes just loading FF and quitting right away. Sometimes FF quit gracefully as normal, but usually the crash screen appeared after exit -- a few seconds after, so it didn't crash while actively on the site, it was while quitting.
Seemed to log only one crash, though:

(I probably killed it while submitting the other crashes.)

I've had several more crashes since, sometimes after a momentary visit and exit, sometimes after a long session. Also had long stretches with no crashes. But invariably, crashes almost every day, including again now. This may be useful for Bug 1153824. Mine is likely just a duplicate with a variant on symptoms.

Wayne, FYI, I deferred to Bug 1153824 and posted all further comments there. (It was a newer bug, but it was getting all the action.)

There was a long investigation in Bug 1153824 (covering FF37, 38 and 39) which eventually pointed to the Norton Toolbar in "Norton Integrated Security" (aka "NIS") as the culprit. The crashing temporarily went away whenever the NT was disabled, and is gone for good once upgrading to the new "Norton Security" product (v22).
I can confirm no FF crashes of any kind on any of my machines since installing the new Norton Security and its toolbar. Bug 1153824 is resolved, and thereby so is *THIS* bug.
